,Angela’s story

When I was 13 years old, our family emigrated to the United States during the height of Beatlemania. It was a good time to be a teenager from England.

In 1994, with mid-life barking at my heels, I moved from Rochester, New York to Kona on the Big Island of Hawai’i with my youngest daughter, Chelsea. The drive to move was based largely on intuition and a strong inner urge. The problem with spiritually driven motives, is that they often defy logic and require a lot of trust. With no job, very little money and an unhappy eight-year-old, I set off on my grand adventure. My trust was rewarded beyond my wildest dreams. I found my life purpose while attending massage school in Kona. Following that, I made a career in massage therapy and teaching bodywork. I went on to found the Aloha Massage Academy in Kainaliu, Hawai’i in 2006.

I am now semi-retired and spend most of my spare time writing, hiking, swimming, living off the grid, and hanging out with my two dogs, MacKenzie and Nui, my cat Chandler, and a bunch of nameless chickens (it’s not a good idea to name chickens . . .).

Gotta have at least one glam shot.

I love to share my books with fellow reading enthusiasts.
